Ron Wilson's first club meeting since becoming President was an evening of highs, lows and the setting of direction for the coming Rotary Year. Ken has been a member of 3 different clubs around Australia for the past 30 odd years. He has been a tireless worker, generously volunteering his time and amusing us with his witty recounts. Ken has been given Honorary membership of Parkwood Rotary.

All members were very happy to welcome Amanda de Fina back to the club, after a short absence.

Teresa Dawson gave us Rotary facts, exploring the role of RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service)and our RAWCS Muravah project in the Philippines.

We congratulated Hilli Reaburn on her appointment as District Chair for ROMAC (Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children)
Hilli gave us the exciting news of a significant donation and pledge of a generous regular monthly donation to the Muravah farming project. We are now hunting for masks to wear to a masquerade ball in September. Funds from this event will go to  the Muravah Foundation.
